- Ensure your channel is located in an eligible country. You can check your channel location in YouTube Studio under Settings > Channel > Advanced settings.
- Enable two-step verification for your Google Account. You can do this by going to Google Account > Security > Signing into Google > 2-Step Verification.
- Set up an active AdSense account and link it to your channel. You can do this by going to YouTube Studio > Monetization > Sign up for Google AdSense.
- Apply for the expanded YouTube Partner Program through YouTube Studio. You can do this by going to YouTube Studio > Monetization > Apply now.
After you submit your application, YouTube will review your channel and notify you of their decision within a month. If your application is approved, you can start monetizing your videos with ads and other features. If your application is rejected, you can reapply after 30 days if you fix the issues that caused the rejection.
