Frank Lampard, the manager of Everton, has stated that he is not concerned about the possibility of being sacked, despite his team’s recent poor performance.
The team has not won a game in the top flight since October and is currently stuck in a relegation battle, sitting in 19th place. Everton’s poor form has resulted in six defeats and two draws, which is Lampard’s longest winless run as a manager in league competition.
When asked by Sky Sports if it was time for Lampard to be sacked, the owner of the team, Farhad Moshiri, stated that it was not his decision to make.
Lampard acknowledged that the team is going through a difficult period and that he knew the task at Goodison Park would be considerable when he took over a year ago, as the team was already struggling.
He also stated that he is proud to be the manager of Everton and does not fear the possibility of being sacked.
